Home My WebLink About17289 - RESOLUTIONS - 10/3/1990RESOLUTION NO. 17289 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO 7 TO THE ALLOCATED POSITIONS AND COMPENSATION PLANS FOR POSITIONS IN THE CITY SERVICE FOR THE 1990-91 FISCAL YEAR. WHEREAS THE City Council by Resolution 17201, on July 25, 1990, adopted Allocated Positions and Compensation Plans for Fiscal Year 1990-91; and WHEREAS the Library Board of Trustees and the City Manager have recommended to the City Council that the Allocated Positions and Compensation Plans be amended to remove the Library Division from the Community Services and Promotions Department and to establish a separate Library Department; and WHEREAS an amendment to the Allocated Positions and Compensation Plans is also necessitated by the desirability of deleting one City Librarian allocation at MX 24 and adding one City Librarian allocation at EX 3 in the new Library Department.
