DECEMBER 10, 1985
An Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Palm
Springs was called to order by Mayor Bogert, in the Large Conference
Room, City Hall , 3200 Tahquitz-McCallum Way, on Tuesday, December
10, 1985, at 3 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmembers Birer, Foster, Maryanov, Smith
and Mayor Bogert
Absent: None
PUBLIC HEARING:
1 . AIRPORT HOTEL - TEFRA HEARING
Recommendation: That the Council hold a TEFRA hearing relative
to the issuance of tax-exempt bonds to finance the construction
of the Airport Hotel by H.B. McComic, Inc. and Doubletree
Inns, in amount of $8.967 million. No action required at
this time. Report reviewed by Economic Development & Housing
Coordinator.
Mayor declared the hearing opened; there being no appearances, (51 )
the hearing was closed.
No action.
LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
2. P.S. STEERING COMMITTEE
Mayor announced his appointment of Henry Dally to succeed
Sue Morrison on the P.S. Project Steering Committee;
after which, it was moved by Foster, seconded by Birer, and
unanimously carried, that said appointment be approved.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor declared the meeting
adjourned to Monday, December 16, 1985, at 4:30 p.m. , in
the Large Conference Room, City Hall .
