AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO CAUSE
CONFORMITY WITH THE GENERAL PLAN ADOPTED
MARCH 3, 1993, CITYWIDE, SECTIONS 7, 12, 13, 15, 18, 19, 26,
' 30, 35 & 36, AS PHASE TWO OF THE ZONING CONSISTENCY
PROGRAM.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 9407.00B.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from W-0-5 and W-N-0-5 to W-P.
The parcel of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 7" is approved for a change
of zone from W-0-5 and W-N-0-5 to W-P, specifically the property identified by APN 677-220-
016, and containing 1.72 acres-P.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 9407.0013.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from W-0-5 to W-M-1-P.
The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 7" are approved for a
change of zone from W-0-5 and W-M-1-P, specifically the properties identified by APNs 677-
250-006 and 677-260-005, -006, -014, -025 thru -027, and containing 260 acres+.
SECTION 3. Pursuant to Section 9407,OO13.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from M-1 and M-1-P to 0.
The ,parcel of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 12" is approved for a change
of zone from M-1 and M-I-P to 0, specifically the property identified by APN 507-301-012, and
containing 9.50 acres.
SECTION 4. Pursuant to Section 9407.0013.6. of the Patin Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from G-R-5, W-M-1-P, M-1-P, M-1, W-0, 0, N-0-5 and W-N-O-S to
W-A and A.
' The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibits labeled "Section 7", "Section 12", "Section
13" and "Section 18" are approved for a change of zone G-R-S, W-M-l-P, M-1-P, M-1, W-0, 0,
N-0-5 and W-N-0-5 to W-A and A, specifically the properties owned by the Patin Springs
Regional Airport identified by APNs 502-100-026 and -029(portion); 507-302-004, -007, -010
thru -012, -013(portion) and -015; 507-350-017 and -026; 507-380-016, -017(portion) and -022;
677-260-012, -01.5 thru -019, -022 and -023; 677-270-019 (portion) and -030(portion); and 677-
280-031(portion). /
SECTION 5. Pursuant to Section 9407.00B.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from R-1-A to 0-20.
The parcel of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 15" is approved for a change
of zone from R-1-A to 0-20, specifically the property which is a portion of Lot 30 of the '
Subdivision of Palm Springs, MB 9/432, and identified by APN 513-I10-023, and containing
14.96 acres+.
SECTION 6. Pursuant to Section 9407.00I3.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from R-1-C, R-2 and N-R-2 to P.
The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 19" are approved for a
change of zone from R-I-C, R-2 and N-R-2 to P, specifically Lot 24 of Block C of The Desert
Tract, MB 20/63-64 and identified by APN 680-033-013; Lots 1 &. 24 of Block D of The Desert
Tract, MB 20/63-64 and identified by APN 680-034-013 and -014; Lots 1 & 24 of Block F of
The Desert Tract, MB 20/63-64 and identified by APN 680-035-019 and -020; Lots I thru 10 of
Vista del Cielo, MB 20/86 and identified by APNs 680-041-004, and -006 that -014; Lots 1 thru
10 of Vista del Cielo No. 3 and identified by APNs 680-042-007 thru -014; a portion of Lot 4 of
the Subdivision of Palm Valley Colony Lands, MB 14/652 and identified by APN 680-071-002;
and Lots I thru 12 of Val Vista Tract, 1\7B .20/99 and MB 21/100(amended) and identified by
APNs 680-072-005 thru -012 and 630-073-001 thru -004.
SECTION 7. Pursuant to Section 9407.0013.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the ,
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from W-R-I-C to W-0.
The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 19" are approved for a.
change of zone from W-R-I-C to W-O, specifically those properties which are part of the:
Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort and known as Lots 23-30 of Block C of Palm Springs Addition No,
1, M13 2/27, and identified by APNs 680-111-027 and -048; Lots 23-30 of Block B of Palm,
Springs Addition No. 1, MB 2/27, and identified by APNs 680-112-008, -009 and -017; Lots 23-
26 of Block A of Palm Springs Addition No. I, MB 2/27, and identified by APNs 680-113-006, -
007 and -025; Lots 1 thru 18 (portion) and 33 thru 52 (portion) of Block 3 of Patin Springs
Addition No. 2, MB 2/30, and identified as APNs 680-111-008 thru -011 (portion), -028 thru -

SECTION 8. Pursuant to Section 9407.0013.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from M-1 to 0.
The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 19" are approved for a
' change of zone from M-1 to 0, specifically those properties which are part of the Palm Springs
Wastewater Treatment Plant and known as Lots 18 and a portion of Lots 30 & 31 of the
Subdivision of Patin Valley Colony Lands, MB 14/652, and identified as APNs 680-020-010, -
02.7(portion), -028(portion) and -055(portion).
SECTION 9. Pursuant to Section 9407.00B.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from W-R-MHP to W-R-2.
The parcel of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 26" is approved for a change
of zone from W-R-M1IP to W-R-2, specifically the property identified by APN 511-041-003, and
containing 2.38 acres+.
SECTION 10. Pursuant to Section 9407.0013.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from R-2 to R-G-A(6).
The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibits labeled "Section 26" and "Section 35" are
approved for a change of zone from R-2 to R-G-A(6), specifically the properties identified by
APNs 511-390-053; 511-390-050 and -051; and all properties located in Tracts 10730-1 & -
2(amended) and identified by APNs 512-110-012 thru'-018, -025, and -027 thru -033; and 512-
132-001 thru -017,and -020.
SECTION 11. Pursuant to Section 9407.0013.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Patin Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from R-MHP and 0-20 to R-1-C.
The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 30" are approved for a
change of zone from R-MI-IP and 0-20 to R-1-C, specifically the properties known as Tract 3105,
MB 51/33-35, and identified by APNs 681-080-001 thru -052, and containing 9.25 acres±.
SECTION 12. Pursuant to Section 9407.00B.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official 'Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from 0-20 to R-1-C.
The parcel of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 30" is approved for a change
of zone from 0-20,to R-1-C, specifically the property identified by the southerly portion of APN
681-160-017,
SECTION 13. Pursuant to Section 9407.00B.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, tire
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from C-M, W-C-2 and W-R-3 to R-2 and W-R-2.
The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 30" are approved for a
change of zone from C-M, WC-2 and W-R-3 to R-2 and W-R-2, specifically the properties 7k
known as a portion of Parcel I of Parcel Map 17656 Amended, PM 175/7, and identified by APN 7
681470-045; and Parcel 10 of Parcel Map 16175 Amended, :`M 96/37-38, and identified by APN 01 t:
681-170-026.
SECTION 14. Pursuant to Section 9407.00B.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from W-R-1-B to W. '
The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 35" are approved for a
change of zone from W-R-1-B to W, specifically the properties which are located in the Flood
Control Easement (Palm Canyon Wash) known as Lots AA, F1 & I of Tract No. 118087 AM, MB
216/32-40, and 'identified by APNs 512-190-026, -027, -030 and -032; the easterly portion of the
property identified by APN 512-210-012; and the portion of Traci. No. 16759, MB 129/87-89,
identified by APN 512-310-002.
SECTION 15. Pursuant to Section 9407.00B.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm. Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows:
Change of Zone from R-2 to R-3.
The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 35" are approved for a
change of zone from R-2 to R-3, specifically the property identified by APN 512-180-009; and
the property known as Tract No. 4497, MB 73/36-37, and identified by APNs 512-230-001 three -
011.
SECTION 16. Pursuant to Section 9407.00B.6. of the Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance, the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Palm Springs, referred to herein, is hereby amended as follows: '
Change of Zone from W-0-5 and 0-5 to R-1-C.
The parcels of property legally shown on the exhibit labeled "Section 36" are approved for a
change of zone from W-0-5 and 0-5 to R-l-C, specifically the properties identified by APNs
669-460-002; 669-470-003, -011 thru -014; and 669-480-003, -004, -006 thru -009, -016 thru -
013.
SECTION IT EFFECTIVE DATE, This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after passage.
SECTION 18. PUBLICATION. The City Clerk is hereby ordered to and directed to certify
to the passage of this Ordinance, and to cause the same or summary thereof or a display
advertisement, duly prepared according to law, to be published in accordance with law.
