AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 11.33 OF THE PALM SPRINGS MUNICIPAL
CODE BY ADDING R:ECIUIREHEtTS FOR SECONDARY C:OHTAIHMENT
STORAGE SYSTEMS AT THE PALM SPRINGS REGIONAL AIRPORT.
THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 11.33. 122 of the Palm Springs Municipal Code :is hereby
added to read, as follows:
•11.33.122 Secondary I�metaiiniaent Storage SystRms. No storage of
hazardous materials, chemicals, paints or solvents shall take place on the
Palm Springs Regional Airport property unless stored in a secondary
containment facility, system or storage device that meets or exceeds EPA
standards. "
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE., This Ordinance shall be in full :force and
effect ninety (90) clays, after passsge.
SECTION 3. PUBLICATION. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to
certify to the passage of this Ordinance, and to cause same or a summary
thereof or a display advertisement, duly prepared according to law, to be
published in accordance with law.

I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT the foregoing Ordinance 1435 was duly adopted
by the City Council of the City of Palm Springs, California, in a meeting
held on the 3rd day of February, 1993, and that same was duly published
in the DESERT SUN, a newspaper of general circulation on February 9, 1993.
