RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve Parcel Map No. 27831 for Leasehold Interest Only for Larry
E. Johnson representing Sunrise Square Partners, a Limited Partnership, to divide property
located at 1751 Sunrise Way North, Section 2, T 4 S, R 4 E.
BACKGROUND:
Larry E. Johnson, P.E. representing Sunrise Square Partners, a Limited Partnership,
requests that one (1)parcel located at 1751 Sunrise Way North, Section 2, T 4 S, R 4 E, be
divided into six (6) leasehold parcels.
At its meeting of September 22, 1993, the Planning Commission recommended approval of
Tentative Parcel Map No. 27831 which was subsequently approved by the City Council,
subject to conditions, on October 20, 1993.
The map was delayed in being submitted for City Council action by the length of time
(approximately 6 years) it took the subdivider to submit the CC&R's and get approval of
same. There was further delay caused by the time it took to get map approval by the Bureau
of Indian Affairs.
It has been determined that required conditions have been satisfied, that the Parcel Map No.
27831 is in substantial conformance with the approved Tentative Map, and that the Parcel
Map No. 27831 is ready for City Council actions.APPROVED: dgr4 ee,,•

RESOLUTION NO. 19605
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 27831 FOR
LEASEHOLD INTEREST ONLY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 1751 SUNRISE WAY NORTH, SECTION 2, T 4 S, R 4 E
WHEREAS the Planning Commission, at its meeting of September 22, 1993 recommended
approval of Tentative Map No. 27831 for leasehold interest only requested by Larry E. Johnson,
P.E. representing Sunrise Square Partners, A Limited Partnership for the above described property,
subject to conditions; and
WHEREAS the City Council, at its meeting of October 20, 1993 approved Tentative Map No.
27831 subject to conditions; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pahn Springs finds
that Parcel Map No. 27831 is in substantial conformance with approved Tentative Map No. 27831
and has satisfied conditions as required, and is in conformance with the General Plan, and conforms
to all requirements of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California, and the City Council does
hereby approve Parcel Map No. 27831 for property herein described.
