HomeMy WebLinkAbout2/16/2000 - STAFF REPORTS (20) DATE: FEBRUARY 2000 TO: CITY COUNCIL FROM: DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AND BUILDING PD 257 AND CASE 5.0824,DESERT WALK:MINUTE ORDER FORA CONTRACT NOT TO EXCEED $7500 FOR TOM DODSON AND ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE AN ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT. The City has received an application to redevelop the property located at 123 North Palm Canyon Drive and currently known as the Desert Fashion Plaza. As part of the City's analysis of the project, an environmental assessment must be prepared so as to consider compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act(CEQA). The cost ofthis environmental analysis will be paid by the applicant,Excel Legacy Corporation. However,as the consultant is working for the City,the contract is between the City and the consultant.
