CITY'S TWO (2) COGENERATION PLANTS
FROM SIERRA SOUTHWEST COOPERA-
TIVE SERVICES, INC., TUCSON, ARIZONA,
OR OCCIDENTAL ENERGY MARKETING,
INC., HOUSTON, TEXAS, EFFECTIVE
SEPTEMBER 2002, FOR A PERIOD OF TIME
NOT TO EXCEED TWELVE (12) MONTHS,
LOCKING IN A FIRM FIXED PRICE, NOT TO
EXCEED $3.50 PER ā¯‘ECATHERM.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that this Minute Order, authorizing the City Manager to
purchase the City's natural gas commodity requirements for the City's two (2)
Cogeneration Plants from Sierra Southwest Cooperative Services, Inc., Tucson,
Arizona, or Occidental Energy Marketing, Inc., Houston, Texas, effective
September 2002, for a period of time not to exceed twelve (12) months, locking n
a firm fixed price, not to exceed $3.50 per decatherm, was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Palm Springs, California, in a meeting thereof held on the
6" day of March, 2002. ,
