TORRANCE, CA, ON A UNIT PRICE BASIS
OF $471 PER TON, EXCLUDING TAXES,
FOR A ONE YEAR TERM, WITH TWO, ONE
YEAR RENEWAL OPTIONS; IT IS
ESTIMATED THAT THE WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT WILL REQUIRE 60
TONS PER YEAR, OR AN ESTIMATED
ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $28,260, PLUS
APPLICABLE TAXES.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that this Minute Order, awarding Bid #97-02 for liquid chlorine
to Jones Chemical, Inc., Torrance, CA, on a unit price basis of$471 per ton, excluding
taxes, for a one year term, with two, one year renewal options: it is estimated that the
Wastewater Treatment Plant will require 60 tons per year, or an estimated annual amount
of$28,260, plus applicable taxes, was adopted by the City Council of the City of Palm
Springs, California in a meeting thereof held on the 4th day of September, 1996.
