The Measure did not regulate the ability for the Wastewater Treatment Plant to contract for services that it needed for its safe and efficient operation. The Wastewater Treatment Plant Fund is in need of legal, financial, contract administration, engineering design, billing and many other services which may be procured from the City. Attached is a Direct Charges Contract proposed by the Wastewater Treatment Plant Fund for use in procuring services from the City. The contract specifies that the City will be compensated based upon the hourly rate of the individual providing said services plus a 20% overhead factor. In addition, if City equipment is utilized, it shall be charged based on hourly rates established in the Green Book (An Engineering publication regularly utilized for this purpose.) A Minute Order approving the contract is attached for City Council consideration. ALLEN F. sIW6oTIAE Assistant City Manager-Special Projects APPROVED - /+` City Manager ATTACHMENTS: 1.
