L. Yeager, Construction Company,Inc.,forthe AIP26tenninal ramp expansion project In the amount of$50,602.85. BACKGROUND: Phase I IA Terminal Expansion at Palm Springs International Airport was built in conjunction with a federally funded terminal ramp expansion project. The contractor was required to use security fencing around the project site in order to maintain compliance with FAA Security requirements. The security fencing had to be relocated during the transition to the new terminal. Additionally, the contractor earned a 6% Percent Within Limits (PWL) incentive Increase for meeting or exceeding FAA material standards. This incentive amount,plus the additional unit costfar apron markings and security fencing resulted in the final change order amount of$50,602.85. Staff is requesting City Council approve this final change order for this project. Airport Improvement Program (AIP) funding wiN cover 90% of the cost of the project, with the remaining 10% covered by Airport matching funds.
