NOIA ON BEHALF OF LAWRENCE JOSEPH BOW, LEONARD CHARLES BOW, ARTHUR W. DIAZ JR., BELINDA SUE SHORT, FOR A PRELIMINARY PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT INCLUDING A 500 ROOM RESORT HOTEL, 200 VACATION UNITS, 500,000 SQUARE FEET OF RETAIL, BUSINESS PARK AND OFFICE SPACE AND AN 18 HOLE GOLF COURSE, ON 273 ACRES SITE, AT THE INTERSECTION OF CROSSLEY ROAD AND MESQUITE AVENUE, W-M-1 M-1, W ZONES, SECTION 20. REAS, the Applicant requests approval of a time extension for Planned Development :t 268 (PD-268) for property located at the intersection of Crossley Road and Mesquite ae, W-M-1 M-1, W Zones, Section; and REAS, the iations with :t; and Applicant has requested additional time to July 4, 2004, to continue interested parties regarding financing, design and construction of the REAS, on June 20, 2001, the Planning Commission voted to ing Commission approve the project; and WHEREAS, on July 5, 2001, the Planning Commission voted to approve the project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission carefully reviewed and considered all of the evidence presented in connection with the hearing on the project, including but not limited to the staff report, all written and oral testimony presented.; and WHEREAS, on June 11, 2003, the Planning Commission voted to recommend that the City Council approve the time extension; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Springs, California, after considering the evidence provided at the meeting, does hereby recommend City Council approval of a time extension from July 05, 2003 to July 04, 2004 for PD-268.
