HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution _4728RESOLUTION NO.4728 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THAT THE VACATION OF THE SOUTH END OF BISNAGA AVENUE, SECTION 25, AND THE VACATION OF 5 FEET ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF CHINO DRIVE, SECTION 10 (BEGINNING AT THE INTERSECTION OF N. PALM CANYON DRIVE AND EXTENDING APPROXIMATELY 280.72 FEET) ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE GENERAL PLAN. WHEREAS, The City of Palm Springs is requesting the vacation of portions of Bisnaga Avenue, Section 25, and Chino Drive, Section 10; and WHEREAS, the vacation of the subject rights -of -way will not affect any developed or undeveloped properties; and WHEREAS, the subject rights -of -way are not identified on the General Plan Circulation Plan Map; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Springs has considered the subject vacation at its regular meeting of January 24, 2001; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has carefully reviewed and considered all of the evidence presented in connection with the requests, including but not limited to the staff report, and all written and oral testimony presented. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, based upon the foregoing, the Planning Commission hereby determines that the vacation of the said rights -of -way are not in conflict with the City's General Plan. ADOPTED this 24 day of January _ , 2001.
