Palm Springs City Council meeting of June 25, 2025 (5:30PM) Date:Wednesday, June 25, 2025 12:23:11 PM NOTICE: This message originated outside of The City of Palm Springs -- DO NOT CLICK on links or open attachments unless you are sure the content is safe. June 25, 2025 City of Palm Springs City Council / City Hall 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way Palm Springs, CA. 92262 Attention: Acting Clerk of the Board Re: Written testimony in regards to Agenda Items: 1-A & 1-K Dear current Palm Springs City Council, Please review my written statements listed below prior to the consideration of each agenda Items as listed. 1)Agenda Item: 1-A (Proposed written meeting minutes of the June 11, 2025 City Council meeting) Position: In Strong Opposition of approval (as written) Please be reminded that the city of Palm Springs eliminated good governance in regards to their recording (written meeting minutes) of public meeting(s) conducted under the city's authority during the recent COVID-19 narrative event. Please also consider that public (In- person) attendance was restricted (eliminated) during that fundamental radical political maneuver to eliminate the public's ability to participate with Public testimony during public meetings and be recorded accurately within written meeting minutes of those open public meetings. It's also critical that the official public record reflects that the supplied palm springs city staff report was inaccurate in regards to information of other regional government agencies procedures for recording meeting minutes. Public testimony and Public Comment Agenda Item of the June 11, 2025 city of palm springs written meeting minutes didn't list topics of discussion (agenda Items) and or stances that were taken by public speaker(s) that provide verbal testimony. Please be reminded that historically information will be "Intentionally destroyed" by the actions of Palm Springs officials to reduce their obligations to recognize and recorded accurate written meeting minutes of public meetings held under it's authority. Ethical standards and integrity of city officials will be in question if correctional actions continue to be avoided in regards to how public testimony of city residents and guests have been censored by city officials. 06/25/2025 Public Comment Item 1A 2) Agenda Item: 1-K (display of official (non-progressive) POW-MIA flag) Position: In Strong Support It's highly recommended to have all palm springs city official United States flag location(s) also display the POW-MIA flag at those locations. Please be reminded that writing comments were supplied in recent years when palm springs city officials (city council) decided to install restriction and unusual political maneuvers to have unofficial (selected) flags posted at selected locations throughout city of palm springs buildings. Please be advised that this individual supplied comment in support of ONLY having POW-MIA flag(s) displayed alongside the United States flag at that time in history.
