meeting. There will be an e-mail with zoom credential sent after registration is complete, in order to
access the meeting and offer public comment. Any person who wishes to provide public testimony
for an item on the agenda is requested to file a speaker card before the Public Testimony portion of
the meeting. You may submit your public comment to the Administrative Appeals Board
electronically. Material may be emailed to cityclerk@palmspringsca.gov. Transmittal prior to the
start of the meeting will help ensure that your correspondence is fully considered. Any
correspondence received during or after the meeting will be distributed to the Administrative
Appeals Board and retained for the official record.

4. APPEAL OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE DECISION THAT JASON STEPHEN
DANIELS IS PERMANENTLY INELIGIBLE TO OPERATE A VACATION RENTAL
IN THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS AND THE ADMINISTRATIVE FINE OF $5,000
FOR OPERATING AN UNREGISTERED HOMESHARE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
2074 S. LAGARTO WAY, PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA.
RECOMMENDATION:
1. Open the Appeal Hearing and accept public testimony.
2. Adopt Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS
BOARD OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, ON THE APPEAL OF
JASON STEPHEN DANIELS, FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2074 S.
LAGARTO WAY, PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA REGARDING
ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION AB0758 ISSUED IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 AND
THE PERMANENT INELIGIBILITY TO OPERATE A VACATION RENTAL IN THE
CITY OF PALM SPRINGS.”
5. APPEAL OF THE ADMINISTATIVE DECISION OF A SIX-MONTH SUSPENSION
OF THE VACATION RENTAL REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE AND THE
ADMINISTRATIVE FINE OF $2,500 TO ALEXANDER MOHLER & STEVE SUN
FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 956 S. PASEO CAROLETA, PALM SPRINGS.
RECOMMENDATION:
1. Open the Appeal Hearing and accept public testimony.
2. Adopt Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS
BOARD OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, ON THE APPEAL OF
THE ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION AB0764 ISSUED IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,500

THE ADMINISTATIVE CITATION AB0766 AND ADMINISTRATIVE DECISION OF
A TWO-YEAR SUSPENSION OF THE VACATION RENTAL REGISTRATION
CERTIFICATE FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1569 E. RACQUET CLUB RD.,
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA.”
7. APPEAL OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE DECISION THAT CHRISTOPHER ALLEN
WHITE IS PERMANENTLY INELIGIBLE TO OPERATE A VACATION RENTAL
IN THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS AND THE ADMINISTRATIVE FINE OF $5,000
FOR OPERATING AN UNREGISTERED VACATION RENTAL PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 400 N. SUNRISE WAY, UNIT 203, PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA
RECOMMENDATION:
1. Open the Appeal Hearing and accept public testimony.
2. Adopt Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS
BOARD OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, ON THE APPEAL OF
CHRISTOPHER ALLEN WHITE, FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 400 N.
SUNRISE WAY, UNIT 203, PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA REGARDING
ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION AB0767 ISSUED IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 AND
THE PERMANENT INELIGIBILITY TO OPERATE A VACATION RENTAL IN THE
CITY OF PALM SPRINGS.”
8. ADHOC SUBCOMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD WITH
UPDATES TO VACATION RENTAL ORDINANCE.
RECOMMENDATION:
1. Review and discuss the vacation rental ordinance updates presented by the
Administrative Appeals Board Ad Hoc Subcommittee; and,
2. Recommend that the City Council consider the approval of the vacation rental ordinance
updates recommended by the Administrative Appeals Board Ad Hoc Subcommittee.

9. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Approve Administrative Appeals Board Meeting Minutes from January 22, 2025, February 26,
2025, March 19, 2025, and May 7, 2025.
10. APPROVE 2025 MEETING SCHEDULE:
1. Approve the 2025 AAB meeting schedule, changing the meeting dates to the third
Wednesday of the month and to begin at 2:00pm; and,
2. Direct staff to amend the Administrative Appeals Board Rules of Procedure, Section 1,
Meetings, to read as follows:
“The AAB of the City of Palm Springs shall hold regular meetings on the third Wednesday of
each month at 2:00 p.m. at City Hall, 3200 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs,
California or at another location within a reasonable proximity to the City Hall.”
11. BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS AND REQUESTS:
This portion of the meeting is set aside for general comments, announcements, requests of
staff, and/or other issues of concern from members of the Administrative Appeals Board.
12. CITY ATTORNEY’S REPORTS AND COMMENTS:
This time is set aside for the City Attorney to update the Administrative Appeals Board on
important items initiated by staff or previously requested by the Board.
13. CITY CLERK’S REPORTS AND FUTURE MEETING DATES:
This time is set aside for the City Clerk to update the Administrative Appeals Board on
important items initiated by staff or previously requested by the Board.
