Additionally, members of the public may address the Commission on each item listed on the posted Agenda at the time each item is heard. Testimony for Public Hearings will only be taken at the time of the hearing. Any person who wishes to speak at a Public Hearing may do so when the Public Hearing is called. Although the Public Arts Commission values your comments, pursuant to the Brown Act, it generally cannot take any action on items not listed on the posted agenda. Five (5) minutes assigned for each speaker. APPROVAL OF MINUTES RECOMMENDATION: September 12, 2019 A. PRESENTATIONS: 1. Temporary Vinyl Decal Project by Jim Isermann at the Architecture and Design Center. Presentation by Brooke Hodges of the Palm Springs Art Museum. B. REPORT FROM THE CHAIR C. ACTION ITEMS: 1. Approve proposed terms for agreement with Palm Springs Art Museum to install a sculpture entitled "History of Suspended Time" by Gonzalo Lebrija on the "Art Park" (1-12) site, with expenditures up to $35,000 from the Public Arts Fund. 2. Approve up to $5,000 for repairs or cleaning of artwork (murals, benches, etc.) by the original artist; time and materials to be invoiced when work is complete. 3. REPORTS OF DIRECTOR/STAFF ADJOURNMENT: The Public Arts Commission will adjourn to a Regular Meeting, at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday December 12, 2019, at Palm Springs City Hall, Large Conference Room, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262. It is the intention of the City of Palm Springs to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in all respects.
