PUBLIC COMMENTS:
This time has been set aside for members of the public to address the Public Arts Commission on items of
general interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Public Arts Commission, and agenda items if the
member of the public cannot be present later in the meeting at the time the item is heard by the Commission.
Additionally, members of the public may address the Commission on each item listed on the posted Agenda at
the time each item is heard. Although the Public Arts Commission values your comments, pursuant to the
Brown Act, it generally cannot take any action on items not listed on the posted agenda. Five (5) minutes
assigned for each speaker.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES RECOMMENDATION:

D. ACTION ITEMS
1. Provide direction to staff on continuing with proposed Dyson and Womack contract.
2. Discuss and direct staff on purchase and location of "Finding the Way" Sculpture by Scott
Froschauer.
3. Discuss and direct staff on loan and location of "Lovers' Rainbow" sculpture.
4. Sunline Transit Artist -designed bus shelters — direct staff to negotiate with Sunline.
5. Discussion of City maintenance and repair of public art pieces as directed by the Public
Arts Commission.
6. Extend contract with Madalina Garza for 6 months, to complete photography of the public
art inventory, including murals, for use in creating maps and other presentations within the
website (www.pspublicarts) and social media for an amount not to exceled $6,000.
7. Review and Approve Fiscal Year 2020 and 2021 Public Arts Commission Budget

ADJOURNMENT: The Public Arts Commission will adjourn to a Regular Meeting, at 4:00 p.m_ on Thursday
June 13, 2019, at Palm Springs City Hall, Large Conference Room, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm
Springs, CA 92262.
