Additionally, members of the public may address the Commission on each item listed on the posted Agenda at the time each item is heard. Although the Public Arts Commission values your comments, pursuant to the Brown Act, it generally cannot take any action on items not listed on the posted agenda. Five (5) minutes assigned for each speaker. APPROVAL OF MINUTES RECOMMENDATION: Approve Public Arts Commission Minutes for the meetings held on August 30, 2018, September 13, 2018, and October 11, 2018. A. PRESENTATIONS: B. 1. MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING A REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF AN ART MURAL APPLICATION BY WEXLER'S DELI/ARRIVE HOTEL FOR THE ART MURAL "UNTITLED" BY GREGORY SIFF AT 1551 NORTH PALM CANYON DRIVE (CASE 18-005 MUR) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GUIDELINES SET FORTH BY SECTION 5.81 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE AND SECTIONS 93.20.00 & 93.20.03 OF THE PALM SPRINGS ZONING CODE. MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING A REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF AN ART MURAL APPLICATION BY SAINT PAULS CHURCH FOR THE ART MURAL "CAST YOUR BREAD UPON THE WATERS" BY BERNARD HOYS AT 125 EL ALAMEDA WEST (CASE 18-006 MUR) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GUIDELINES SET FORTH BY SECTION 5.81 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE AND SECTIONS 93.20.00 & 93.20.03 OF THE PALM SPRINGS ZONING CODE. RECOMMENDATION: Review Art Mural Application #18-006 MUR and adopt a resolution of the Public Arts Commission making a recommendation to City Council for consideration and approve application fees by the Public Arts Commission. 3. MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING A REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF AN ART MURAL APPLICATION BY GRIT DEVELOPMENT FOR THE ART MURAL "UNTITLED" (TBD) BY RYAN CAMPBELL AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF MUSEUM WAY AND NORTH MUSEUM DRIVE (CASE (TBD)) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GUIDELINES SET FORTH BY SECTION 5.81 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE AND SECTIONS 93.20.00 & 93,20,03 OF THE PALM SPRINGS ZONING CODE, RECOMMENDATION: Review Art Mural Application # (TBD) and adopt a resolution of the Public Arts Commission making a recommendation to City Council for consideration and approve application fees by the Public Arts Commission. 4. Consider Proposal for Lighting in the 'Art Pit' generally located at the southeast corner of Museum Way and North Museum Drive in the amount of $10,580.34. COMMISSIONER COMMENTSIREPORTSIREQUESTS: 1. November 29, 2018 Study Session REPORTS OF DIRECTOR/STAFF: ADJOURNMENT: The Public Arts Commission will adjourn to a Regular Meeting, at 4:00 p.m., Thursday December 13, 2018, at the Large Conference Room, Palm Springs City Hall, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262. It is the intention of the City of Palm Springs to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in all respects.
