Additionally, members of the public may address the Commission on each item listed on the posted Agenda at the time each item Is heard. Although the Public Arts Commission values your comments, pursuant to the Brown Act, it generally cannot lake any action on items not listed on the posted agenda. Five (5) minutes assigned for each speaker. APPROVAL OF MINUTES RECOMMENDATION: Approve Public Arts Commission Minutes of the December 8, 2016, Regular Meeting A. PRESENTATIONS: 1. None B. NEW BUSINESS: 2. None C. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Community Outreach and Publicity — 2016-17 Programming 1) 18'h Annual Juried Art Show, February 3-25, 2017. Review gallery volunteer schedule and jurying dates; and 2) Review upcoming outreach events schedule. RECOMMENDATION: Receive verbal subcommittee report and Staff update a. Education Outreach — 2017 Programming Review Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Student Art Competition and Exhibition: jurying dates, show location and reception; 2) Update on next Art Demonstration at Palm Springs Art Museum, possible dates and programming.
