46 11/24/1021 The Palm Springs community has a great need for meeting facilities for all citizens and groups. This proposed meeting room will not only provide a facility for traditional
meetings but will also include technology that can be used as “makerspace” which is a collaborative workspace for making, learning, exploring, and sharing that uses high
tech to no tech tools. The room will provide hands-on learning, help with critical thinking skills and a communal public workshop in which citizens of all ages can work on
small personal projects. With this grant the Library would convert a current 288 square foot storage room and former office space, measuring 16’ x 18’, into a meeting
room/makerspace that can serve many purposes. It can be utilized as a meeting room, classroom, or maker space.

48 11/28/2021 The PS pavilion pool area's fencing, surrounding the pool needs to be replaced. The rotten pool equipment has been stolen and costs thousands to replace. A new
powder coated wrought iron fence, between the pool and the pavilion center, with City of PS logos on the entrances of the gates and the top rail to be flowing like the
skate park's fencing (to look cohesive and thought out
this will improve Safety to the facility improve security and help keep unwanted people out of our pool during closed hours.
$55,000.00 Parks / Rec
49 11/29/2021 The light part of the inoperable streetlights in the Historic Tennis Club neighborhood should be replaced with solar powered LED lights. Having lights again in the
neighborhood would increase pedestrian safety in an area where many tourists stay. Even if the lights didn’t last all night, having lights for the sidewalks (or especially
places where there are no sidewalks) until midnight would help get everyone home or back to their hotels safely.
One way or another, either sidewalks or street lighting will have to be addressed in the Historic Tennis Club neighborhood. One person getting seriously injured or killed
would result in a major lawsuit to the city, so repairing streetlights is a far less expensing solution.
