PLAN CHECK CORRECTION LIST
PLAN CHECK DATA: Plan Check Number: 2017-1646
Date of Submittal: 4 May 2017
Today’s Date: 19 September 2017
PROJECT DATA: Project Address: 979 San Lorenzo Road
Project Description: Addition and Remodel
COMMENTS OR CORRECTIONS:
1. It appears that these latest plans were submitted without a site plan that shows the location of the proposed
building on the lot. Its important to know how far it is from the property lines to the additions. For instance,
the existing dwelling is located less than 10’ from the side property line. Unless the Planning Department
gives you relief from the Zoning Ordinance, the addition behind the garage will not be allowed to be less
than 10’ from the property line, even though the existing building is. It looks like you have grounds for the
Planners to allow you to have a substandard setback because the wall of the garage doesn’t appear to be
parallel to the property line, but you’ll need to check with them. Provide a site plan that clearly shows the
additions and the distances to property lines for review and approval.
