The approved plans and this card must always be available to the inspector. Preserve this record. A permit shall expire and become null and void if substanial work is not commenced within 180 days, or if the work is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days. If the work is progressing but approaching the end of the 180 day period from the last recorded day of a passed inspection, a progress inspection must be obtained to keep an active permit.
