President McBride gave the report. The Foundation received a grant for $10,000; the Library will use the
money to start a mobile hotspot lending program. The Foundation met with Library Strategies to discuss
in these times of COVID what other Library Foundations are doing. Based on their advice the Foundation
hired the Carl Bloom Firm to do an end of year giving campaign. The Foundation has set a priority for
fundraising over the next year. The first priority is paying back the $80,000 they owe the Trustees. In
2021 the Foundation will work with the Carl Bloom Firm to do spring and fall campaigns. Treasurer Kelly
asked if the $10,000 was earmarked for certain purposes. President McBride said that the grant funds

Dear Ms. Glickman,
On behalf of the Palm Springs Public Library and the Library Board of Trustees, I want to thank
you for your October 24, 2020 donation of $25.00.
Without the generous support of donors, the Palm Springs Public Library would not be able to
offer all that we do. Our in-person usage was halted in March due to COVID-19 restrictions but
we were able to offer virtual programs, craft kits to go, and library material pickup service. Our
eBook and movie streaming usage increased dramatically and we had 828 participants in virtual
Summer Reading Program. For more information about our events and services, visit
www.palmspringslibrary.org. We cannot thank you enough for your donation.
