Dear Heath:
This letter is in regards to your question about 95 mph wind areas. These areas are
uncommon and thus not included in the Amerimax Building Products Patio Cover. Carport
and Commercial Structure Engineering standard plan.
The proper spans, post spacings etc can be determined from these methods:
1. 95 mph Exposure B can use the same tables as 90 mph Exposure C.
2. 95 mph Exposure C can use the same tables as 105
3. The tables can be interpolated for spans. Use 90% 1
mph table.
