As a result of this review, the items listed below require additional information and/or revisions be made to the plans. Please provide a written response to each of the items listed below with an indication as to the method of resolution and the location within the plans or calculations. Return all plans, calculations, documents and applications from the original submittal with the revised plan package. COMMERCIAL PLAN CHECK CORRECTION LIST COMMERCIAL PLAN CHECK CORRECTION LIST (2016 CBC) rev 03-30-2018 Page 2 of 3 INSTRUCTIONS  Please see corrections on submitted plans. Red marked set must be returned with revised plans. Plans resubmitted without the red markup set may result in delayed review time and additional plan check fees.  Please note that additional corrections may be required following review of the revised plans. Completion of the corrections and/or submittal of revised plans do not presume approval.  The approval of plans does not permit the violation of any section of the Building Code or other local ordinance or state law.  To expedite your project, please provide a written response. Incomplete response may delay approval.  All substantial revisions or additions must be fully clouded with a revision mark.  Two wet signed sets are required for permit issuance. PLEASE ADDRESS ALL CORRECTION ITEMS BELOW APPROVALS 1. Separate approvals/clearances may be required from other departments or agencies, such as the Fire Department, Planning Department, Public Works, etc. Please be advised that approval of these plans shall not be construed as satisfying such approvals. a) Fire GENERAL 1. Submitted plans and related documents are not complete. Additional reviewing time may be necessary upon re- submittal. Please submit complete plans for review. 2. Provide an Existing floor plan prior to construction/remodel. 3. The current kitchen is a full working kitchen. This not a warming kitchen. Please revise scope of work. 4. The existing Kitchen was 1 free standing stove, 1 kitchen hood, 1 oven and 1 sink. Current plans have 2 stoves, 2 kitchen hoods 2 oven and 2 kitchen sinks. Please revise scope of work. 5. Provide an Electrical plan and identify the height of all switched and outlets throughout the kitchen and lighting 6. Delete all notes and details that do not apply to this project. ACCESSIBILITY Application and Administration 1. When alterations or additions are made to existing buildings or facilities, an accessible path of travel to the specific area of alteration or addition shall be provided unless otherwise exempt. (CBC Section 11B-202.4) 2. Primary accessible path of travel shall include a primary entrance to the building or facility; toilet and bathing facilities serving the area; drinking fountains serving the area; public telephones serving the area, and signs. (CBC Section 11B-202.4) Accessible Routes 3. Show on the site plan accessible routes that comply with the following. At least one accessible route shall be provided within the site from accessible parking spaces and accessible passenger loading zones; public streets and sidewalks; and public transportation stops to the accessible building or facility entrance they serve. Where more than one route is provided, all routes must be accessible. (CBC Section 11B-206.2.1) 4. Show on the site plan at least one accessible route that complies with the following. At least one accessible route shall connect accessible buildings, accessible facilities, accessible elements, and accessible spaces that are on the same site. Provide accessible access to switch for kitchen hoods. 6. Provide accessible access to ovens. 7. SPECIAL ROOMS, SPACES, AND ELEMENTS Kitchens, Kitchenettes, and Wet Bars 1. Provide a section and detail showing that sinks comply with 11B-606 Lavatories and Sinks, including clear floor space, height, faucets, and at exposed pipes and surfaces. (CBC Section 11B-804.4) 2. Show that at least 50 percent of the shelf space is within required reach ranges. (CBC Section 11B-804.5) 3. As a range/cooktop is provided, detail the required forward reach approach at the sink. (CBC Section 11B-804.6.4) CALIFORNIA GREEN BUILDING STANDARDS CODE Provide ALL of Chapter 5 mandatory requirements and applicable tables on plans. Specify plan check, inspection and construction responsibilities on plans. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1.
