aware of your responsibilities and possible risk you may incur by having this penult issued in your name as the
Owner -Builder (per California Health and Safety Code Section 19825). We will not issue a building permit until you

1. 1 understand a frequent practice of unlicensed persons is to have the property owner obtain an "Owner -Builder
building permit that erroneously implies that the property owner is providing his or her own labor and material
personally. 1, as an Owner -Builder, may be held liable and subject to serious financial risk for any Injuries sustained
by an unlicensed person and his or her employees while working on my property. My homeowners insurance may
not provide coverage for those injuries. I am willfully acting as an Owner -Builder and am aware of the limits of my

Standard Wall Detail - Not Retaining
2016
Design is limited to six (6) foot maximum high masonry wall. Six or eight inch
block, run at staggered faints.
Notes:
1. This is not a retaining wall. Mabmum grade differential on opposing sides of wall is
6 inches.
2. Height of wall is measured from top of footing to top of wall.
3. Center reinforcing steel in the center of the masonry blocks.
4. Lap all rebar a minimum of 24 inches. Maintain 3 inch clear from soil.
5. Grout ONLY cells that contain rebar.
6. Alternately reverse direction of rebar hook in footing. 6 inch min. hook.
7. Materials: Concrete 2,000psi. Mortar 1,800psi Grout 2,000psi Blocks C-90 N.
Inspections:
1. Footing: After trenching and placement of steel, but prior to pour.
2. Reber: After blocks are set, and rebar is placed, but prior to grout.
3. Final: When all work is complete.
