TRAFFIC in that area is already horrible, even after the city spent millions of dollars (relatively) recently upgrading the nearby intersection. My wife and I regularly patronize several of the businesses in the shopping center in question, and I can say without hesitation that it is already challenging (and, sometimes, nearly impossible) to maneuver into that area to do business with them. Sadly, if the proposed complex, along with an unheard of number of drive-through lanes, is approved and constructed, we will no longer be able to fight the traffic and shop there for services, food, and other retail establishments that have become an important part of the quality of our life in Palm Springs. Simply stated, approving this complex would be one of the worst decisions ever made by any committee or commissions in this region. NO!
