The main objective is to repair the residual damage caused by long term flooding due to inadequate drainage, which
was rectified by Measure J in March 2024. These repairs are out of necessity and caution for the safety of our club
members, Sunrise Parker attendees, and community aquatic programs that will be using the pool pavilion (ie. Mizel
Senior Center, Palm Springs Masters Swim Tea, PSUSD). Repairs include replacement of the two damaged retaining
walls boarding Sunrise Park, an additional entrance/emergency exit within one wall leading to the park, two sets of
damaged glass doors, landscaping around the area and proper signage. The second objective will include
renovations needed for the pool pavilion. A new ventilation system is needed for the pool pavilion due to the
change in climate. Currently cooled by a swamp cooler. The locker rooms need to be updated with new plumbing,
shower rooms and private changing areas. Current nonworking facilities, peeling paint and inadeq
