The Mental Health Recovery of Palm Springs (MHRPS) is a pioneering initiative designed to address the Coachella

Describe and identify any substantive discussions or endorsements you have developed with City staff,
commissions, or volunteer groups to shape your proposal and to identify any potential duplication of efforts
In shaping the proposal for the Mental Health Recovery of Palm Springs, we have engaged in substantive discussions
with key city officials including Scott Styles, Kris Mooney & Police Chief Andy Mills. Their insights are crucial in
aligning our initiative with the city’s strategic goals & ensuring it complements existing services. Collaboration with
the Palm Springs Navigation Center & Martha's Village & Kitchen has highlighted integrated approaches that address
mental health alongside homelessness & food insecurity avoiding duplication of efforts. Working closely with the
Riverside County Dept of Mental Health & Advocates for Human Potential to leverage their expertise in service
delivery & ensure our proposal meets community needs. Engaging with the Dept of Healthcare Services reinforces
our commitment to providing high-quality accessible resources. Together these partnerships aim to create a holistic,
innovative response to the mental health crisis in the Coachella Valley.
