ROLL CALL: Present: Donenfeld, Hirschbein, Hudson, Song, Vice Chair Moruzzi, Chair Woods Absent: Grace Garner Staff Present: Planning Director Fagg, Attorney Priest, Administrative Coordinator Hintz, Engineering Associate Minjares, Associate Planner Mlaker REPORT OF POSTING OF AGENDA: The Agenda was available for public access at the City Hall exterior bulletin board (west side of Council Chamber) and the Planning Services counter by 4:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2019. ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGENDA: Song, seconded by Hirschbein to accept the Agenda, as presented. AYES: Donenfeld, Hirschbein, Hudson, Song, Moruzzi, Woods ABSENT: Garner PUBLIC COMMENTS: BRIAN FOSTER, applicant, Item 4A, Pinnacle Point (Lot 7), said that the home has been designed to complement the indoor/outdoor lifestyle with specific requirements from the owner. He was available for questions from the Commission. 1. CONSENT CALENDAR: 1A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: REGULAR AND SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES OF MARCH 27, 2019 Donenfeld, seconded by Hirschbein to approve the minutes, as submitted. AYES: Donenfeld, Hirschbein, Hudson, Moruzzi, Woods ABSENT: Garner ABSTAIN: Song Planning Commission Minutes April 10, 2019 City of Palm Springs 2. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None. 3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None. 4. NEW BUSINESS: 4A. PINNACLE PALM SPRINGS, LLC, FOR A MAJOR ARCHITECTURAL APPLICATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 3,224-SQUARE FOOT HOUSE ON A HILLSIDE LOT AND AN ADMINISTRATIVE MINOR MODIFICATION FOR A REDUCTION IN THE FRONT YARD SETBACK AND AN INCREASE IN BUILDING HEIGHT LOCATED AT 1747 PINNACLE POINT (LOT 7), ZONE PDD 79 (CASES 3.4095 MAJ & 7.1562 AMM). (GM) Associate Planner Mlaker presented an overview on the proposed hillside house as outlined in the staff report. Commissioner Song requested a condition be added that the perimeter wall detail to be approved by Staff at the time of Building Permit plan check.
