PC MINUTES Adjourned Meeting/November 12 , 1992 (Held on November 18) Page 2 PUBLIC COMMENTS: None. ARCHITECTURAL APPROVAL ITEM Approval of architectural approval cases is valid for two years. The approval granted must be exercised within that time period unless extended. CASE 3 . 0948 . Application by THOMAS STARR for architectural approval of final exterior colors for a professional office building at 1800 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, "P" Zone, Section 13 . The Commission approved a two-tone paint combination on the building, but it was painted a single color. Commission requested that the paint color and the new entry be reviewed in the field and the application continued to an adjourned meeting on November 18 . Staff recommends approving the color as painted since the color will diminish in intensity as the building ages and also because the landscaping will soften it. The applicants took out the jutting garden window to soften the exterior and the deletion of the marble was approved by the Commission in its review and approval of working drawings with Commissioner Cioffi making the motion at the time. The entryway pop-out created a hot house behind the window and was one of the reasons for its deletion. The only action for the Commission is to approve or deny the color. M/S/C (Helm/Drury; Tysen/Cioffi absent) approving the color as painted in the field. CITY COUNCIL ACTIONS. No report was given. COMMISSION/STAFF REPORTS/REQUESTS. None. ADDED STARTERS. None.
