OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1966-67.
WHEREAS Resolution No. 8707, approving the budget for the fiscal year
1966-67 was passed on July 11, 1966; and
WHEREAS the City has entered into, a contract for employees' group.health
and hospitalization insurance coverage with Hospital Service of Southern
California (Blue Cross) ; and
WHEREAS Hospital Service of Southern California,-is accordance with the
contract, has notified the ,City of the need to increase the rates for said
coverage commencing January 1, 1967, and;
WHEREAS the City Manager has recommended that additional funds be appropriated
to cover the increase of said insurance rates;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby amend the
budget for the 1966-67 fiscal year and appropriate from General Fund Surplus
850 to Account Number 11-133-3515, Health Insurance.
Adopted this 28th day of November 1966.
