OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS,

CALIFORNIA, CANVASSING THE ELECTION RETURNS FOR -
ANNEXATION OF THE INHABITED AREA KNOWN AS "TRAM-
VIEW ANNEXATION", AND CONSISTING OF PORTIONS OF
SECTIONS 34 and 35, T3S, R4E, S.B.B.&M.
WHEREAS, an election was held within the territory known
as Tramview Annexation and comprising portions of Sections
34 and 35 , T3S, R4E, S. B.B.&M. on Tuesday, September 20,
1966, at which time the voters within the said terriroty
did vote upon the proposition of annexation of the said
territory to the City of Palm Springs , pursuant to the
provisions of Government Code Section 35100, et seq. ,
and the applicable provisions of the Elections Code , and
WHEREAS , in said election there was one voting precinct
denominated as the single precinct designated to conduct
said election; and
WHEREAS , the notices of the annexation election and the
proposition of annexation were duly supplied the voters
within the times and in the manner required by law and
the said annexation election was conducted in accordance
with the applicable laws of the State of California;
I NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Palm Springs does hereby find and determine .
a) That the said annexation election was duly and properly
held within the said territory known as Tramview
Annexation and comprising portions of Section 34 and
3.5, T3S, R4E, S.B.B.&M. on Tuesday, September 20 , 1966 ;
b) That the whole number of votes cast at said election
in the said territory was one hundred forty eight (148) ;
c) That one hundred four (104) votes were in the affirm-
ative and forty four (44) votes in the negative ;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Palm Springs does hereby declare and approve of the
canvass of votes , as above set forth and does declare that
the electors within the said territory have approved the
annexation of the said Tramview Annexation comprising
portions of Sections 34 and 35, T3S, R4E, S. B.B.&M. to

the City of Palm Springs by the vote as above set forth.
Resolution duly adopted by the following vote :
