HomeMy WebLinkAbout8713RESOLUTION NO. 8713 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION I TO VACATE ALL OF THE RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST OF SAID CITY IN A PORTION OF EULALIA CIRCLE, IN SECTION 25, A STREET WITHIN SAID CITY. WHEREAS the City Council of the CrIty of Palm Springs, California, is authorized by the Street Vacation Act of 1941, (Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California) to vacate and close up the public use of streets or parts of streets within the limits of said City; and WHEREAS the City Council intends to vacate and close that portion of Eulalia Circle, south of East Palm Canyon Drive between Araby Drive and the Palm Canyon Wash in Section 25, said ,street being described as follows : Lot B of Araby Point Estates, as per Map Book 38, Page 74, Riverside County Records . NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Palm Springs shall and it does hereby signify and declare its intention to vacate and close up the hereinabove referred to and Iparticularly described Eulalia Circle, a street in said City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works of said City is hereby directed to conspicuously post along the line of the part of said street proposed to be vacated, at not more than three hundred (300) foot distance apart, but not less than three 3) in all, notice of street vacation. Such notices shall state the passage of the within Resolution of Intention and the time and place of hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 25th day of July, 1966, at the hour of 7 :30 o'clock p.m. of said date, in the City Council Chamber at 3200 Tahquitz-McCallum Way, Palm Springs, California, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the said proposed street vacation, said time being not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of the adoption of this Resolution. BE IT FURTHEF2 RESOLVED that the Deputy City Clerk be and hereby is directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published in the manner prescribed by law for the publication of Ordinances I 1- 5-B 101 Resolution No. 8713 Street Vacation of said City.I Adopted this 25th day of July 1966 .
