THE CITY OF PAIM SPRT,NGS, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING TIME WORK DESCRIBED IN RESO- LUTION OF INTENTION NO. 8681 FOR ASSMSMENT DISTRICT NO. 81 The City Council of the City of Palm Springs, California, pursuant to the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911.," being Division 7 of the Streets and.'Highways -Code of the State, of California, DOES RESOLVE as follows : That the public interest and convenience require the work herein- after mentioned to be done and, therefore, the said City Council hereby orders the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said City, to-wit : 8" sanitary sewer with 4" or 6" house laterals to the property line in portions of Chia Rd. , Fiesta Rd. , Rodeo Rd. , Vaquero Rd. , Opuntia Rd, and Chuckwalla Rd. , and 4" or 6" house laterals to the property line connected to the existing sewer in Via Mi-raleste and Avenida Caballeros, P.C. concrete curbs and gutters, P.C. concrete drive aprons , and asphalt concrete pavement on portions of Chia Rd. , Via Miraleste, Fiesta Rd. , Rodeo Rd. , Vaquero Rd . , Opuntia Rd, , Avenida Caballeros & Chuckwalla Rd. , I all as particularly described in Resolution of Intention No. 8681 , passed and adopted by the City Council of said City on the 13th day of June 19 66 and on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. For further particulars, reference is hereby made to said Resolution of Intention and the plans and drawings Nos. 1098-1 to 1098-20 incl. on file in the office of the City Engineer of said City, and to the specifications for said work heretofore adopted by said City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; all of said plans, drawings and specifications heretofore approved by said City Council are incorporated herein and made a part hereof, and reference is hereby made thereto for a more particular description of said work. Said City Council has determined and declared that the contemplated work and improvement heretofore mentioned was, in the opinion of said City Council of more than local or ordinary public benefit and the said City Council has made the expenses of said work chargeable upon a district. For the particular description of said district, reference is hereby made to said Resolution of Intention.' , Said City Council has determined and declared that serial bonds bearing interst at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum and extend- ing over a period ending nine , (9) years from the second day of January next succeeding the next September .1st following their date, will be I issued hereunder' in the manner provided by the "Improvement Act of 1911," of California, to represent each assessment of Fifty Dollars 50.00) or more remaining unpaid for ,thirty (30) days after the date of recording the warrant, 1 Res. 8705 Page 2 Res.
