RESOLUTION NO. 8675 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE PORTION OF THE GENERAL PLAN FOR SECTIONS 29 AND 30, 'T4S, RSE, vSBB& M. WHEREAS the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on May 4, 1966, and recommends to the City Council that the land use portion of Sections 29 and 30 be amended as follows : In Section 30, beginning at the Palm Canyon Wash for the frontage on the north side of Highway III for the entire section, a Hotel-High Density Residential use. A Low Density golf course usage in the location of the present Seven Lakes Development. On the south side of. Highway 111, beginning at the Palm Canyon Wash, a Hotel-High Density Residential, with Highway- Commercial generally centered around Cherokee Way, with a Trailer Park usage proposed immediately to the south. To the east of the Highway-Commercial a ,proposed Neighbor- hood Shopping Center with a Commercial-Manufacturing usage directly to the south against the mountains. For Section 29 along Highway 111, a Hotel-High Density usage for both the north and south sides . NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby amend the land use portion of the General Plan for Sections 29 and 30, T4S, RSE, SBB&M. , as referred to hereinabove and shown on the attached map entitled Exhibit "A". Adopted this 13th day of June 1966 . Ayes : Councilmen Foster, Selig, Wiefels and Mayor McCoubrey Noes!
