OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS,
CALIFORNIA, PROPOSING A SPECIAL ELECTION FOR
ANNEXATION, DESCRIBING SPECIFICALLY THE BOUNDARIES

OF THE TERRITORY PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED, DESIG=
NATING THE TERRITORY TO BE ANNEXED AS THE TRAMVIEW
ANNEXATION AND NOTICING 7:30 P. M. , JUNE 27, 1966,
AT COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, 3300 TAHQUITZ-
MCCALLUM WAY, PALM SPRINGS, AS THE DATE, TIME AND
PLACE FOR PROTEST HEARING.
WHEREAS, an adequate supplemental petition, containing a description.
of the new territory proposed to be annexed and signed by not less
than one-fourth of the qualified electors residing within the
territory proposed to be annexed has been filed with the Cleric of
the City of Palm Springs, requesting annexation; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has certified the sufficiency of said
supplemental petition;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the boundaries of the territory
proposed to be annexed are described and shown specifically on
the attached map marked Exhibit "A", which is incorporated herein
by reference. Said Exhibit "A" shall be endorsed with this
Resolution number. The territory proposed to be annexed is hereby
designated the "Tram-view Annexation", by which it shall be referred
to on the ballots used for the annexation election. The protest
hearing on this proposed annexation shall. be held June 27, 1966,
at 7:30 P. M. , in the Council Chambers at City Hall., 3200 Tah.quitz-
McCallum Way, Palm Springs, California, at which place and time
and on which date any person owning real property within the
territory proposed to be annexed may appear before the City Council
of Palm Springs concerning written protest against the annexation
filed pursuant. to Section 35120, Government Code, State of California.
