OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF "THE: CITY OF PALM
SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, DEC!A- RING ITS
INTENTION TO VACATE ALL OF THE RIGHT,
TITLE AND INTEREST OF SAID CITY IN A
PORTION OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF EAST
PALM CANYON DRIVE AID VIA ENTRADAā€˛ A
STREET WITHIN SAID CIT''L
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of. Palm Springs, California,
is authorized by the Street Vacation Act of 1941, (Part 3,
Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California) to vacate and close up the public use of streets or
parts of streets within the Limits of, said City; and
WHEREAS the City Council intends to vacate and close that portion
of the northeast corner of East Palm Canyon Drive and Via Entrada.,
said street being described as follows:
That portion of Lot B, Palm Highlands, as shown in Map Book
19, Page. 10, Records of. Riverside County, being in the SW 1/4
of Section 23, T4S, R4E, SBB6M. , more particularly described
as commencing as the intersection of the centerline of East.
Palm Canyon Drive and Via Entrada, as shown upon said map of
Palm Highlands ; thence N 32' 23' 30" E along the centerline
of Via Entrada a distance of 290.01 feet to a point on the
I centerline of Avenida Ortega; thence southeasterly along said
centerline, being a curve, concave northeasterly, having a
radius of. 427.20 feet, an are distance of 30.19 feet to a
point on the southeasterly right-of-way line of Via Entrada ;
thence S 32" 23' 30" W along said southeasterly line a distance
of 168.47 feet to the point of beginning, thence along a curve,
concave northeasterly, having a central angle of 96' 21' 00"
and a radius of 67.32 feet, an arc distance of. 113.32 feet to
a point on the northerly right-of-way line of East Palm
Canyon Drive,, thence northwesterly along said line, being a
curve, concave northeasterly, having a radius of 666 .78 feet
and a central angle of 04' 12' 56" an are distance of 49.06
feet; thence along a tangent curve, concave easterly, having
a radius of 25.00 feet and a central angle of 92' 13 ' 57",
an arc distance of 40.24 feet; thence N 32' 23' 30" E tangent
to the preceding course, a distance of 45.62 feet to the true
point of beginning.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council, of the City of
Palm Springs shall and it does hereby signify and declare its
intention to vacate and close up the hereinabove referred to and
particularly described street, a street in said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public. Works of said

City is hereby directed to conspicuously post along the line of
the part of said street proposed to be vacated, at not more than
three hundred (300) foot distance apart, but not less than three
3) in all, notice of street vacation. Such notices shall state
the passage. of the within Resolution of Intention and the time
and place of hearing all persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed vacation.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 13th day of June, 1966, at the
hour of. 7 :30 o'clock p.m. of said date, in the City Council
Chamber, at 3200 Tahquitz-McCallum Way, Palm Springs, California,
be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place of hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to the said proposed
street vacation, said time being not less than fifteen (15) days
from the date of the adoption of. this Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Deputy City Clerk be and hereby
is directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published
in the manner prescribed by law for the publication of Ordinances
of said City.
