OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 'PALM SPRINGS,
CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF AGREE-
MENT NO. 310 ,ON CONDITIONS AS PROVIDED HEREIN
I WHEREAS, Agreement No. 310 by and between the City of Palm Springs and
Ambassador Airlines, Inc. was entered into on the 23rd day of October,
1964; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement expired on December 31, 1965; and
WHEREAS, Mr. E. L. Cleveland, as an individual, has continued to operate
the premises described in said Agreement on a month-to-month basis.
NOW,THEREFORE.BE IT RESOLVED that Agreement No. 310 is hereby extended
to and including the date Notice of Completion is recorded upon the new
airport terminal now under construction, with such extension conditioned
upon the following:
1. The restaurant will continue to be operated on the present
service level until May 1, 1966, after which the food ser-
vice may be reduced to a "coffee and donut" operation.
2. In consideration of having any food service at all in the
present terminal, the restaurant operator will be allowed
to occupy the premises on a rent free basis. However,
all utilities and costs of the restaurant will continue
to be borne by the operator.
3. Agreement No. 310 as presently signed by E. L. Cleveland,
president of Ambassador Airlines, Inc. , is hereby extended
to E. L. Cleveland as an individual.
4. Any reference to the air taxi/charter flight service portion
of Agreement No. 310 is hereby deleted since the air taxi
is now a separate operation. A separate agreement is being
prepared whereby Ambassador Airlines, , Inc. will rent office
space for $50.00 per month and pay 1% of the gross receipts
from the air/taxi/charter flight business.
