HomeMy WebLinkAbout8589J RESOLUTION NO. 8589 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE VACATION OF ALL RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST OF SAID I CITY IN A PORTION OF AN EASEMENT ON THE EASTERLY 30 FEET OF LOT 28, PALM VALLEY COLONY LANDS, SECTION 13, AN EASEMENT WITHIN SAID CITY. WHEREAS the City Council 'of the City of Palm Springs, California, is authorized by the Street Vacation Act of 1941, Part 3, Division 9, of the Streets and Highways Code, to vacate and close up to the public use, streets or parts of streets, within the limits of the City; and WHEREAS heretofore the City Council did adopt a resolution declaring its intention to vacate a portion of the hereinafter referred to easement, and the City Council did post notice as required by the statute, and did hold its public hearing, as required by the statute. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Palm Springs, California, does hereby vacate all the City's right, title and interest in a portion of an easement on the easterly 30 feet of Lot 28, Palm Valley Colony Lands, Section 13 , an easement within said City, County of Riverside, State of California, described as follows : I The easterly 30 feet of Lot 28, Palm Valley Colony Lands, Section 13, T4S, R4E, SBB&M. Said easement is depicted on a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Palm Springs, California, which said office is hereby referred to for particulars on the proposed easement vacation.
