OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
CASE 5 A68, FOR HIGH-RISE STRUCTURE ON THE APPLI-
CATION OF THE HOSPITAL, DISTRICT, AND DENYING THE
APPEAL THERETO
WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Springs
has recommended approval of application of the Desert Hospital
District, requesting permission to construct a 51. 5-ft high-
rise building with a variance from Section 9304.00-H reducing
the ,required setback from a single family residential district
from:,A09 feet to 201 feet; and
WHEREAS the City Council has considered an appeal from the
Planning Commission decision, and conducted a hearing thereon
on .January 10, 1966, in accordance with Section 9402 of the
Palm Springs Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS after considering all of the facts presented by the
applicant and by the appellants, the City Council concurs with
the Planning Commission,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
denies the appeal filed on the Planning Commission granting
such Conditional Use Permit.
