OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO VACATE ALL OF THE RIGHT, TITLE AND
INTEREST OF SAID CITY IN A PORTION OF
AN EASEMENT ON THE EASTERLY 30 FEET OF LOT
28, PALM VALLEY COLONY LANDS, SECTION 13,
AN EASEMENT. WITHIN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Palm Springs, California,
is authorized by the Street Vacation Act of 1941, (Part 3, Division
9, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California) to
vacate and close up the public use of streets or parts of streets
within the limits of, said City; and
WHEREAS the City Council intends to vacate and close that portion
of an easement on the easterly 30 feet of Lot 28, Palm Valley
Colony Lands, Section 13, said easement being described as
follows.
The easterly 30 feet of Lot 28, Palm Valley Colony Lands,
Section 13, T'4S, R4E, SEB&M.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Palm Springs shall and it does hereby signify and declare its
intention to vacate and close up the hereinabove referred to and
particularly described easement, an easement in said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works of said
City is hereby directed to conspicuously post along the line of
the part of said easement proposed to be vacated, at not more
than three hundred (300) foot distance apart, but not less than
three (3) in all, notice of easement vacations Such notices
shall. state the passage of the within Resolution of Intention
and the time and place of hearing all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 14th day of February, 1966, at
the hour of 7030 o'clock p.m. of said date, in the City Council
Chamber at 3200 Tahquitz-McCallum Way, Palm Springs, California,
be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to the said proposed
easement vacation, said time being not less than fifteen (15)
days from the date of the adoption of this resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Deputy City Clerk be and hereby
is directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published
in the manner prescribed by law for the publication of ordinances
of said City .

California, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 8565
was duly adopted by the City Council of said City at a meeting thereof
held on the 10th day of January, 1966.
