OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE VACATION OF ALL RIGHT,
TITLE AND INTEREST OF SAID CITY IN A PORTION OF A
40-FOOT EASEMENT ALONG THE EAST SECTION LINE OF
SECTION 22 BETWEEN MESQUITE AVENUE AND SUNNY DUNES
ROAD.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Palm Springs, California,
is authorized by the Street Vacation Act of 1941, Part 3, Division
9, of the Streets and Highways Code, to vacate and close up to
the public use, streets or parts of streets, within the limits
of the City; and
WHEREAS heretofore the City Council did adopt a resolution
declaring its intention to vacate a portion of the hereinafter
referred to easement, and the City Council did post notice as
required by the statute, and did hold its, public hearing, as
required by the statute,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Palm Springs, California,does hereby vacate all the City`s
right, title and interest in a portion of a 40-foot easement
along the east section line of Section 22 between Mesquite
Avenue and Sunny Dunes Road, an easement within said City,
County of Riverside, State of California, described as follows :
The easterly 40 feet of Section 22, T4S, R4E, SBB&M,
from a line southerly of, parallel with, and 44.00
feet perpendicular distance from the centerline of the
westerly extension of Sunny Dunes Road, to a line
northerly of, parallel with, and 44.00 feet perpen-
dicular distance from the westerly extension of the
centerline of Mesquite Avenue, and an arc line con-
concave easterly having a radius of 766.78 feet, and
being parallel with, westerly of, and 50.00 feet
radial distance from the centerline of South Palm
Canyon Drive.
Said easement is depicted on a map on file in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of Palm Springs, California, which
said office is hereby referred to for particulars on the pro-
posed easement vacation.

I, Judith Sumich, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Palm Springs,
California , do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 8560
was duly adopted by the City Council of said City at a meeting thereof
held on the 10th day of January, 1966.
