Hi Scott,
In general, the airport is looking at all opportunities for expansion. Part of the master plan
process includes an aeronautical study – not only of the current conditions, but it also
projects future conditions. We are just starting that process now. Once we have a clear
understanding of what those conditions will look like, we can make informed decisions
about what type of facility expansion would be most appropriate for the operation. I can tell
you that there have been discussions about both possibilities – as well as discussions about
demolishing and replacing the south concourse altogether. We should have clearer
indications of what the most practical solution would be by the end of this year.

In the Low season there’s not much aircraft activity at the airport however during the high
season, it looks rather congested at times while I’ve either been to the airport to board and
depart from a flight or have driven past on either Gene Autry or Ramon.
Is there a plan to either build a North Concourse and or to elevate the current commuter to
allow for second level boarding bridges?.
