Why is the street Hermosa, from Vista Chino to Francis lighted with only 4 light poles and the rest on Hermosa
from Francis to San Rafael has over 120 lights burning from dusk to dawn 365 days a year. Everywhere else the
City observes Dark Skies to enjoy our fantastic Desert Skies, while this community continues to violate the Dark
Desert attitude? Arrogance, our trying to promote lower income property as something it’s not? Why can’t the City
of PS actually address this? Why in what world is it right to affect so many others negatively? Please at least come
by and see for yourself and justify why over 120 lights are needed on a street that NO ONE LIVES ON? Patiently
waiting for a reply. Their response was “ we’re on private property and our HOA rules and regulations supersede
City, State and Federal regulations. What total MISS interpretation of the LAWS! Please address this and let these
undocumented Dictators that they are NOT ABOVE THE LAWS!
Thanks for your time and effort

Please stop incentivizing the removal of grass. I understand that a reduction was needed, but I feel there needs to
be a conscious and well-considered end-point goal. I appreciate the reduction that has taken place over the past
several years, but if the goal is to completely eliminate lawns, then it is going too far. We need to decide when
enough is enough otherwise we will end up dry and dusty like Phoenix and Palm Springs will no longer look (or feel)
like Palm Springs. Thank you for your service to our community.
Thank you,
City of Palm Springs
