DAMAGED PROPERTY VALUE $ R192200009 CONTINUATION SHEET Page 2 of 2 Riverside County Sheriff-Form C 442 Continuation Page (Revised 11-15-2016) LAW ENFORCEMENT OTHERS: 1 Central Homicide Unit: 2 Sergeant Clear ID#1828 RSD / Special Investigations 951-955-2777 3 Investigator Dickey ID#4204 RSD / Special Investigations 951-955-2777 4 Investigator Trudeau ID#3147 RSD / Special Investigations 951-955-2777 5 6 DETAILS: 7 On August 8, 2019, I was contacted by Sergeant Clear and advised to respond to an on-going 8 Officer Involved Shooting investigation in the city of Palm Springs, Riverside County, California. 9 As I was responding to the scene of the incident, Investigator Dickey directed me to drive to the 10 Desert Regional Medical Center and meet with Central Homicide Investigator Munoz. Once I 11 arrived at the medical center, Investigator Munoz and I collected photographs and physical 12 evidence from, Kevyn Weintraub, the suspect involved in the shooting (For additional information 13 regarding items collected, refer to Investigator Munoz’s supplemental report). From the medical 14 center, I drove to the Palm Springs Police Department station and assisted Investigator Munoz 15 with the photography and evidence collection from the involved Palm Springs Police Officers 16 involved in the shooting (For additional information regarding items collected and photographs 17 taken, refer to Investigator Munoz’s supplemental report). 18 19 20 After completing the processing of Weintraub and the two involved officers, I accompanied 21 Investigator Munoz to the Riverside County Sheriff Department’s Palm Desert patrol station and 22 logged the evidence items collected into the electronic evidence tracking system and secured the 23 items in an evidence storage locker, located inside the station. This supplemental report is being 24 completed for documentation of the assistance I provided to Investigator Munoz as he performed 25 the duties assigned to him by Investigator Dickey and this report will be forwarded to Investigator 26 Dickey for inclusion into the case file. 27 28 CASE STATUS: OPN/C-R-2 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44
