Area Photographed/Scene Description:

The area flown was the area surrounding the intersection of Indian Canyon Drive and East Camino Parocela in
the city of Palm Springs, Riverside County.

Details:

On August 8, 2019, the Riverside County Unmanned Aircraft Systems Team (Drone/UAS Team) responded to
the intersection of Indian Canyon Drive and East Camino Parocela in Palm Springs, in response to a request
from the Riverside County Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit. The UAS Team was requested in order to
photograph and document the area. Deputy Hernandez, Technical Services Bureau Analysist Ruben Aguirre,
and I responded to the scene on behalf of the UAS Team and I acted as the Pilot in Command.

I filed a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), advising our activity in
the area. Flights were conducted by Deputy Hernandez and myself using a DJI Phantom 4. 142 pictures were
taken of the area. A gridded flight pattern was flown, capturing images of the entire area using Pix4D Mapper.
Addition free flights were conducted to capture additional images of the scene. The pictures were loaded onto
a flash drive and booked into evidence. The scene had low lighting due to sunset, and no supplemental lighting
was used while taking pictures.

No other actions were taken by the UAS team, and this report is being written to provide supplemental
information to the investigation.
