The pattern of planting clusters is influenced by the prevailing wind and drainage patterns, which go from NW to SE. Desert Modern: Courtyard planting is carefully curated and arranged more formally than the larger surrounding landscape. Each courtyard will have its own unique character, using 3-4 native species each.
