hearing at its meeting of March 9, 2023. The City Council meeting begins at 5:30 p.m., in the Council
Chamber at City Hall, 3200 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs. Pursuant to Assembly Bill 361,
this meeting may be conducted by teleconference. View the City Council meeting live at the City's website

The purpose of this hearing is to consider a Change of Zone (CZ) application for a proposed mixed -use
project, which includes 24 residential condominium units and a 5,411-square-foot commercial space, on
2.4-acre undeveloped parcels. The application proposes to change the current zone designations of the
project site from 'Central Business District' (CBD) and `Limited Multiple -Family Residential' (R-2) to `Retail
Business' (C-1) entirely. The Planning Commission reviewed the item at their meeting of February 8,
2023 and voted unanimously to recommend approval to the City Council subject to conditions of approval.
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: An environmental assessment was prepared under the
guidelines of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and a Mitigated Negative Declaration
(MND) has been recommended. Members of the public may request to view this document by contacting
the Department of Planning Services and could email written comments prior to the City Council meeting.
REVIEW OF PROJECT INFORMATION: The proposed application, site plan, and related documents
are available for public review via email by contacting the project planner: Noriko Kikuchi, Associate
Planner, at Noriko.Kikuchi@palmspringsca.gov. Staff is available to answer questions by telephone at
(760) 323-8245 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

POR EL PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA que el Ayuntamiento de la ciudad de Palm Springs, California, celebrara una
audiencia publica en su reunion del dia 9 de marzo de 2023. La reunion del Ayuntamiento de la ciudad comienza

Planificacion analizo el tema en su reunion del 8 de febrero de 2023 y voto unanimemente recomendar la
aprobacion al Ayuntamiento, sujeto a condiciones de aprobacion.
DETERMINACION AMBIENTAL: el estudio ambiental se preparo de conformidad con las directrices de la Ley
sobre Calidad del Medio Ambiente de California (CEQA, por sus siglas en ingles) y se ha recomendado una
Declaracion Negativa Mitigada (MND, por sus siglas en ingles). Los miembros del publico que Io deseen pueden
solicitar ver este documento a la Division de Servicios de Planificacion y enviar un mensaje de correo electronico
con comentarios antes de que se Ileve a cabo la reunion del Ayuntamiento de la ciudad.
REVISION DE LA INFORMACION DEL PROYECTO: la solicitud propuesta, el piano del lugar y los documentos
