The Planning Commission meeting begins at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 3200 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs. The purpose of the hearing is to consider Case TPM 38635: a Tentative Parcel Map application by The Mezrahi Trust, to subdivide a partially developed, 1.85-acre parcel into two parcels. Each of the proposed lots will comply with the minimum lot standards of the R-2 Zone. The subject property is located at the northwest side of Sunrise Way and East Andreas Road. ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Pursuant to Section 15315 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, the proposal meets criteria for a Class 15 Categorical Exemption and qualifies as a Minor Land Division. Class 15 consists of the division of property in urbanized areas zoned for residential, commercial, or industrial use into four or fewer parcels when the division is in conformance with the General Plan and zoning, all services and access to the proposed parcels to local standards are available, the parcel was not involved in a division of a larger parcel within the previous 2 years, and the parcel does not have an average slope greater than 20 percent. REVIEW OF PROJECT INFORMATION: The application, tentative parcel map and other related documents are available for public review at the City Hall between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
