PROCEDURALSTATUS
No 4850 and/or TO benefits have been paid on the CT claim due to the duplicative nature of the body parts
pled.
Formal discovery on the new claims has not yet begun. Applicant's counsel has expressed interest in a global C&R
to resolve all of the Applicant's claims against the City.
It is the understanding of counsel that the Applicant wishes to retire from his position with the City and move
out of state. The status of the Applicant's retirement and potential IDR application has been approved.
On 09/13/22 AA demanded $125,000.00 to resolve all the Applicant's claims against the City via C&R.
ANALYSIS OF THE EXPOSURE
DocuSign Envelope ID: A73D5E7D-E59C-4568-88A4-82194ADA2BOF
Applicant has demanded $125,000 to resolve all four WC claims via global C&R. The potential exposure on our
open dates of injury is approximately $483,056.24. 1 recommend we proceed with a global C&R at $125,000
which is a great discount on the overall exposure on these claims.
TTD 4850:
Claimant filed for and was approved by CalPERS and the City for an IDR. Claimant has formally retired from the
City. No TTD or PD at this juncture pending finalization of C and R settlement.
