PROCEDURALSTATUS No 4850 and/or TO benefits have been paid on the CT claim due to the duplicative nature of the body parts pled. Formal discovery on the new claims has not yet begun. Applicant's counsel has expressed interest in a global C&R to resolve all of the Applicant's claims against the City. It is the understanding of counsel that the Applicant wishes to retire from his position with the City and move out of state. The status of the Applicant's retirement and potential IDR application has been approved. On 09/13/22 AA demanded $125,000.00 to resolve all the Applicant's claims against the City via C&R. The potential exposure on our open dates of injury is approximately $483,056.24. 1 recommend we proceed with a global C&R at $125,000 which is a great discount on the overall exposure on these claims. TTD 4850: Claimant filed for and was approved by CalPERS and the City for an IDR. Claimant has formally retired from the City. No TTD or PD at this juncture pending finalization of C and R settlement.
